We are seeking a part-time associate therapist (LAC, LSW or LMSW).
Against All Odds Integrated Community Care is an outpatient behavioral health organization that provides comprehensive outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents with a variety of psychological needs. We utilize a variety of treatment methods such as, but not limited to; CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Strength-Based Approaches. Our goal is to meet the needs of our patients and flexibility in practice is a necessity.

Ideal Candidate
This position is best suited for a highly motivated therapist who enjoys private practice but does not want the hassle or stress of running his or her own practice (marketing, billing, scheduling, rent, etc…). It is also suitable for someone who prefers working as part of a collaborative team of therapists, rather than practicing in isolation, and has a passion for helping others.
This position requires a strong work ethic and the desire to provide quality and evidenced based treatment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and developing their skills. A balance of attention to detail, enthusiasm, and a professional demeanor is a must.
Requirements:

Hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work

Good standing with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and current holding of non-independent licensure or application pending

Build up to a minimum of 20 client hours per week (plus the additional time needed for case management, consultation & recordkeeping)

Experience with Counseling Individual clients

Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed

Willingness to comply with documentation protocol necessary for best practice

DSM-5 diagnostic competency

Competency with documenting “medical necessity” in progress notes and treatment plans

Completion of notes and other required documentation within 24 hours of completion of session.

Current CPR & First Aid Certifications

Possess some knowledge of assessment and crisis intervention and community resources

Pass background check, drug screen, and active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

Must not practice independently outside of the agency in any capacity.

Equipment: Must have a smartphone, computer access, and be comfortable with technology.

Must provide own private practice liability insurance
Compensation & Benefits
This is a contract-based employment (1099) position with growth potential and increased revenue as your caseload grows.
